Gamepad
Plug in or pair a controller and it works right away. The buttons map to their GameCube equivalents, so an Xbox or generic pad feels natural. No setup screen, no driver.
Touch (mobile)
If you're on an iPhone or iPad running iOS 26.0 to 26.4, update to iOS 26.5 or later first. Those versions have a Safari bug that closes the tab after about a minute.
On a phone or tablet, an on-screen joystick and A, B, and Start buttons appear once the game loads. Push the joystick further to move faster, and hold B while moving to run. On text and menu screens, like naming your character or writing a letter, the joystick swaps to arrow buttons automatically so each tap moves one space. Add the site to your home screen for a full screen, app-like layout.
